When the screen is blank,? here is broken (cut off) cable in the USB cable-white cable. Ordinarily this happens near the USB connector. Check with a multimeter and renovate. You can also add an new USB cable!

I marvel if persons argumentative in this area low magnification like me did not find the high magnification setting. To illustrate this, take off the cap and place tightly down on e.g. photograph. It must focus at in this area “30x”. Then turn the veer very nearly all the way to in this area “400x” and you will see the assumed role come into focus over again (this time you have to chat very carefully or you’ll go past). Looks sweet excellent – you can basically the ink dots in the reputation.
so i got the 400x translation. First of all the mini DV observably doesnt fit into an Imac, and then secondly, after downloading the drivers it wont work.

You need to go in the “Options” to select the dialogue box size for pictures and videos.
hi can a name help, my microcapture software doesnt let me go into preferences, when i click it nothing happens, i need to go in and chat the size of the video capture delight help

Andy, I have got the mini cd with drivers and the attention “MICROCAPTURE”, it is austerely fantastic!
I am vacant to post a small video in a small time.
Launch Photo Booth > Top out the microscope from the ‘Camera’ menu.

I have just got my new veho discovery 200x and it facility nicely and smoothly under Mac Os x Snow Leopard!
No, I don’t reckon it will work in Snow Leopard as the software is PPC and SL is Intel only (I reckon). It’s irritating.
How do you use this in photobooth can a name delight tell me thankfulness
btw mine is the 400x translation.
I can’t get it to work on 10.6, I just get a black screen. Subdue looking for a key, but for the time life I am taking pictures by by Photo Stall, and choosing the microscope from the ‘Camera’ menu.

my one has 400x zoom
I have the same problem but the excellent news is that Photo Stall drives the microscope. It may I don’t know have superfluous features in the original software, and Photo Stall reverses the assumed role. But I have successfully taken photos and video by Photo Stall.
It *does* grow to be a honestly low-magnfication webcam. But fun anyway for the kids for whom it was bought. And me.
Did as not compulsory with the download files, plugged the microscope in, opened MicroCapture and just get a black screen. Any suggestions gratefully expected.
Seems like a fantastic product/doohickey. but for me the magnification is too top bolt from the blue.
Anyway andypiperuk, thankfulness for this fantastic review, it was very helpful.
Can you use this as a webcam and does it work in iMovie do you take place to know

PC or Mac? what translation? have you installed any other software just?
You must really check with Veho as I don’t work for them and don’t know the internals of the product :-/
Hi Andy, i have the vms-101, when i set it up to my comp it worked impeccably but now the screen is blank!? have you any thought how this is and what i may maybe do to get it effective over again? everyhting seems t be fine but im just not being paid any depiction!?!?!??
Thankfulness for looking it over. I did contact Veho on July 2, but as a name on this thread said, “I reckon they must be closed for Christmas.”
