Silicone Tipped Forceps,
OK, I got these in view of the fact that the really low-cost no-name-strain forceps I’ve been by for being are all metal and I didn’t want to scrape my teflon pans.
That having been said, the ancient forceps (low-cost stainless forceps) have at least one advantage – they may maybe be operated with just one hand. All these new forceps take two hands (or maybe one hand and your mouth) to lock/unlock and then use.
My ancient forceps just have a check clip that slides up and down the soubriquet (stopping at the press-stud at the underneath) and to lock them, you tip the head down and let the clip slide to the middle and, to unlock, you tip the head up and let the clip slide back to the press-stud hinge – simple-peasy as they say crosswise the pond.
Other than that, the new ones open not quite as far and are a modest heavier than my ancient ones, but the vital alteration is they can be used on teflon no problem.
