Handy for sure, but may maybe use one more figure . . .,
I really like this mount, we brought it down to a small conference and set it up in the conference office. We configured its four ports with two iPhone cables and the built-in mini-USB and micro-USB cables. I reckon it is honest to say that the device was a hit – people may maybe place a buzz of very nearly any stripe on the mount. Over the way of the conference, we exciting maybe a dozen different types of phones (and even a MiFi) lacking any issues.
The one problem was the “automatic” timer. As it turns out, it’s just a timed 4.5 hour thrash – not some kind of smart logic that detects contemporary draw. So, if a name puts a buzz on it and turns on the mount, it will go off in 4.5 hours – which is fine – except a name else shows up two hours later and adds their buzz (which will only get a 2.5 hour charge). As a consequence, we had a lot of phones that would not get a full charge in view of the fact that the device had shut off and no one had realized they looked-for to turn it back on. The indicator set alight is very, very dim (I don’t know part of the energy savings?), so it’s not very noticeable from a unadorned glance if the unit is on – you really have to look at the power set alight.
It’s a excellent device, but its limitations must be resolved in the next iteration with an choice to turn off the power-saving figure or to chat the timer part to 8 or 16 hours.

|A Video Demonstration of Pros and Cons,
Consumer Video Review Part:: 4:38 Mins
The Belkin Pile up purports to save both energy and clutter; even if, as you will see from this video, it may maybe do better with energy conservation and it helps with clutter only if you never take out your charging cables from the wash. In this video, I show you how it facility — and how it doesn’t. Points not mentioned in the video in view of the fact that of file size consideration: the go up of the wash is diagonal, with a exciting go up and underneath lips to keep your skill from sliding off; the full USB cables (USB to micro and mini) are really small, which may maybe help reduce clutter for the skill that they in fact connect with; the total unit is lightweight, even if rubberized feet prevent it from life knocked off a desk or nightstand.

|A Product Relief Catastrophe…but a solid product,
After reading the reviews on this product the real shipment was delayed 2 months. I must have known this was a product with issues.
The excellent news…it at home and facility OK for charging an iPhone 3G and a Motorola Bluetooth headset.
The terrible news…It does not work for a Blackberry Bold 9700 and apparently other skill.
The really terrible news and the wits for this review…Belkin’s consumer help is a catastrophe.
The unit comes with two small micro USB cables (one predictable of cameras and headsets and one that matches the Blackberry adapter) but no description as to why. The micro usb cable facility fine for the Bluetooth headset. The other cable that fits the Blackberry does not charge the Blackberry and if used requires the Blackberry to be reset by removing the array.
Tucked into the nominal documentation is a slip of document I originally missed that indicates a Belkin website for a special cable for the Blackberry Bold and other skill. I went to the site, prearranged the free cable and in small diplomacy got an email comeback from Belkin that my diplomacy was expected.
A week later no cable. Manifold calls to the 24×7 consumer help finished up life disconnected or routed in a group. The chat choice disastrous with three different Browsers. A email request for consumer help vital manifold tries to get past the vital help description before it was accepted. Over again an critical email indicating comeback with 1 business day. FIVE DAYS later an email comes indicating that the cable diplomacy was unrecognized, the come forth was closed, and a sanction that I call consumer help! This smells like Belkin is subdue unawares to help this product on any front.
Life a foodie for punishment I tried consumer help over again. After ignoring the directions (none admit their new Pile up line of harvest) and everlastingly got a self that transferred me to a further self that started to help. 30 summary later after forwarding the email (from Belkin!) that said my cable was prearranged I finished up with a look excellent to fix and a return call. 24 hours later , no substitution diplomacy, no call back.
No matter what Belkin was responsibility from the time the product was announced and the two months later they shipped; it wasn’t telling their consumer help organization in this area it nor was it hard it with run of the mill harvest.
BUYER BEWARE
UPDATE 3 WEEKS LATER: More calls to Consumer Help and more emails back indicating no such cable diplomacy; I gave up and prearranged the cable over again. At this top the original packaging is long gone and it does work well on two skill. Bolt from the blue…A consumer help call back after a disconnect resulted in a look excellent that the cable would be shipped immediately. I questioned for a confirmation email. No email as promised but the free cable at home…Excellent news… the cable facility and the Blackberry Bold now charges.
The next day a further box arrives from Belkin… I now have a bag of 10 of these cables. I can’t wait to see what’s on my doorstep when I return home this evening! Life a excellent inhabitant I called the Belkin RMA number to place forward to return all of these superfluous cables…SNAFU…long time on hold..Raj tells me I called the ill-treat number; Don’t reckon so but OK; Raj offers to conveying me… click click click… back to Raj! Raj suggests I wait an hour and call back after their phones are fixed…SIGH…I reckon not.
UPDATE 4 MONTHS LATER:
In view of the fact that we use this product day after day and I have had no contact with Belkin’s abysmal consumer help in view of the fact that the initial review, I’ve stanch to revise the by and large product review due to Belkin’s startup woes and comment on the device itself.
We are a no land-line household and this cleans up the clutter & cable mess on the deactivate. With the aptly cables it has been luckily charging ipods, iPhone, Blackberry, Motorola Bluetooth headset, and misc guest cell phones that use the universal USB adapter. The only thing to be aware of is that small skill charging on their own that draw modest contemporary and are absolutely empty (like the Bluetooth headset) will eventually trigger the auto-shutoff figure and not get a full charge. iPhones and Blackberrys don’t have this come forth.
New underneath line…buy it you’ll like it…except you need any consumer help…but that’s right of many companies these days!
