360 Live iPhone App Review

December 1, 2009 by Doug

iconAs someone who is an Xbox 360 gamer, and an iPhone owner. I have tried all of the apps that are supposed to manage your Xbox friends list. And I was quite disappointed with the offerings. Some required to you to manually enter your friends into the app. And one even has a supported app that requires you to enter your login credentials, and export your friends list into a txt file, and import it into the second app. That is until last week, when I found this little gem called 360 Live.

The app uses your email credentials from Xbox.com to log in. Depending on your network connection and XBL friends, it may take a few minuted to load.

settings

Once it loads, you have access to your XBL FL, and several options.

You can send a message. To one, or multiple recipients. It also does predictive text so as you type, names begin to pop-up.

Selecting a gamer card will allow you to view their profile and compare games, achievements and gamer scores.

As you can see, 360 Live is very full featured for an app that allows you to manage your Xbox Live friends list and messages when you can’t access your console.

Reasonably priced of $1.99, it’s the best iPhone app for managing your XBL friends list and messages.

rating44/5 Highly recommended

  • Hey man must say now this is a very nice app for 360 owners,. Also I wonder if they make something similar for PS3 owners as well that would be so cool.

    Thanks for posting.
